Most of the writing I’ve done so far has been in the form of short stories. I guess it’s best to start small and work up from there, so here are the few short stories that I have finished. For each one you read here, there are maybe four or five in the ideas stage and maybe two or three that sit on my hard drive with the first page written but nothing else. I write very slowly (some times a year and a half to finish a story). It’s not that I spend hours agonizing over each word it’s just that I don’t feel inspired to write that often. Not a good way to make a living as an author, I know, which is why I find the annual Nanaowrimo and script frenzy challenges so good for me, I can’t worry about feeling inspired, I have to just write!

Below you’ll find a bit about the story, written in true cover ‘blurb’ style (so it may not have much to do with the story at all!). Below this there are links to a short introduction and a much longer after word, giving the back ground to the story, when I wrote it, why I wrote it etc. etc.
